They have people playing the actual game at PAX right now, but it could be like many other games. Get some betas and it still takes 3 years for the full release.

I think the original build was shown as a playable demo at one point lol.

i think i still have the computer games magazine issue from like 1998 where they had the preview

It's never gonna happen LOL...

As much as I'd love this to be true.... we've waited nearly 20 years since the release of the original Duke Nukem in 1991.

Which means our wait for this game is longer than half the forum members have been on this planet LOL

And sad to say you would think the game is going to be freakin awesome, if it's anything like the original....
But honestly I think after so many company changes, this will be a last effort to push the game out into the real world... and will ultimately suck a$$...

Expect this game to be lacking storyline, gameplay, and be loaded with bugs

The only good thing I really expect is a couple of good Duke one liners and quotes, that I can make a ring tone out of..

Don't get me wrong I'm a HUGE fan of Duke Nukem since I played 20 years ago...
But this is going to be an EPIC FAIL..!!!
