I've never really been to a sporting event, but I would love to go. Would either be UFC event or a football game. Waiting for the next Ravens vs Patriots game to be held in Baltimore. I would probably go to that.

You could not be more wrong. I'm a huge sports fan. Love my Ravens, Capitals, Orioles. I watch racing on occasion, International Soccer, Golf, MMA, the list goes on and on.

But if you go to sporting events and pay the king's ransom to attend a game, you have to admit that it's ridiculous money. 8 dollar beers?

When I was growing up, we'd go to Orioles games at Memorial Stadium. You could park a few blocks away, go and see the game, feed your family, all for around 50 bucks or so.

Now 50 bucks might cover parking and two tickets at M&T.

Historically, the game involved a lot more kicking, hence the name. It has changed a lot over the years.

You have to have pads or people are seriously going to get hurt. Not the case with soccer. I guess you could get away with it, if you played two hand touch but that's not the sport.
