Go to any apple fan site or forum and you'll find out how. A lot of the people that like their products are completely blind and in serious denial.

I dont need to, sadly. I grew up with a crazy-*** Mac head. Its seriously like a cult.

The sad truth is apparent: people are willing to buy an iPhone merely because of its name, and nothing else. They could know NOTHING about other phones/OS's. I love running into someone running Android now, because almost all of them love their phones and were genuinely surprised how good they were, seeing as it was the "best they had since the iPhone wasn't a choice". Nothing pleases me more than seeing someone converted due to simply opening their eyes a bit.

Good post. I had been waiting for iphone to come to Verizon for awhile. I've had blackberries and an iphone through work in the past two years. After reading a few reviews on the Droid, I decided to get the new Incredible...I'm hooked. Now that I've had the chance to use all the major smartphone platforms, I'm pretty sure I will be a strict Droid user from here on.

Just bought the Motorla Devour today. The first 2 hours it was a bit overwhelming but now I am enjoying it and slowly finding out all it can do. I was going to get the incredible but they said it would not be in until the 16th. I might take this back if they do get them but other than that I like it so far. Just have to figure out how to put some music in it from a mac with itunes. "Reading instruction on how to do it now"

Oh my god, do not stick with that phone man. Its a joke compared to the Incredible. It was worse than the first Motorola Droid, and THAT is poop compared to the Incredible!

Uggg, its not even running 2.1/2.2, its running old 1.6. RUN FAR AWAY.

Alright iphone 4 details released...this or iphone?

theDreamer 06-07-2010 03:34 PM

After seeing the new features, iPhone, I would say it comes down to network at this point.

Well, if you have 4G (WiMax) available, I wouldn't even contemplate the iPhone if you're on Sprint already.

The new iPhone is just a shinier toy as per usual. If you're already on Verizon or Sprint, I dont think its worth THAT much to change networks - not unless it magically has 4G under the hood, which it does not.

I have the iphone 3g right now, contracts about to end, should I switch to sprint and get the evo? Im really getting sick of all this att bs

HELL YES! You could stay with ATT if you want to start paying out the a** for data. They just announced that they aren't going to have unlimited plans any longer... I'd ditch ATT in a heartbeat.

Lol, calm down...unless he's using over 2 GIG's (!) of data a month, or doing ANY tethering...the new plans arent that bad.

Sorry... just a little a little heated. I don't get how AT&T can take people for their money like that, yet people just keep going to them. They offer a newer faster phone, likely to be used for even more video and data, yet you are not longer going to offer an unlimited option, just boggles the mind
