I replaced the kitchen appliances a year and a half ago, had the original ones from 1996 when I built the house......... all new stainless models. Hot water heater is good, AC/heat pump is original, and the guy that replaced a part on it said they could just keep replacing parts if I wanted to, as they break, lol. I am not into replacing that thing right now. Roof is limping along, needs replacing soon. I am going with a metal roof so I get a lifetime roof (or the rest of my life at least), versus architectural shingles again. Goal is that when I retire, nothing needs to be replaced or done. Washer and dryer are 16 years old as well................ I hope they last a few more
