Not a real expensive item, but it should be.

If you wear undershirts, check out the Uniqlo Airism line. So thin, soft & comfortable. And like $12. I'd say they're similar to the $34 Tommy John's, but don't fall apart like TJ's. And they're actually a bit cooler since they're synthetic vs. cotton.

I tried the Airism boxer briefs, and they're thin & light, but I just couldn't get use to them. I'm a 'let it hang' kinda guy & the boxer briefs are 'hold it up' style.

If any of you guys are interested in Omega, Jomashop has insane deals on their Ebay store right now at about 40% off MSRP. Normally I don't buy from grey market dealers but at these prices it makes sense.

Makes me wish I held out two weeks before buying my AT.

Are they real Omegas?

I've never personally purchased from them but I've read that they have a pretty good reputation.

I contemplated having a glass of Balvenie 40 while I was at Metropolitan Grill in Seattle.
I've had the 30 and the 25 is a regular resident in my cabinet, but the 40 is a bit above my pay grade. A large bit.
I had a really nice Glenmorangie Signet that was a steal at $60 for a glass. :icon17:

I see "home gym" but not a single weight in sight

J/K I'm totally jealous, been wanting to set a home gym at our house for a while now.

hahaha!! I do endurance racing so getting bulked up is counter productive to my objectives. There are some kettlebells behind the treadmill though. That's how I get my strength training in a couple times a week. :tiphat:

100%. Just grey market so you don't get the Omega 4 year warranty (on their Co-Axial movements).

Tried again to convince the wife to let me have a go at one but no luck. :(

a few years ago when i started working I got me a leica m series camera and a rolex watch which i thought were the finer things in life. however, over time they became ordinary. it's just a camera and watch to me now

New watch from the wife for Christmas.

For the curious, it's a Citizen Signature Grand Touring Automatic. My first automatic watch, it's incredibly comfortable... Which is good considering you have to wear it to charge it, if you don't wind it regularly lol.

I broke out my Hammer Stahl to carve up the three year old Serrano I received as a Christmas gift when I was distracted by the bottle of Woodford Reserve Master's Collection on my island. I broke out a Waterford glass and poured myself a two fingers. After that, I realized I needed a cigar and that a client had dropped off a nice flight of Cubans for the holidays, including this tasty Montecristo that I cut with my Xikar exotic woods collection cutter before resting it in a Waterford bowl for this picture.

I never did get around to slicing up the meat, but I did manage to take a pic that required lots of name dropping.

So for Christmas, my GF got me a mini-Viper money clip. For probably 20+ years, I've carried a Coach magnetic folding clip. Wow - what a difference! This thing weighs nothing. It's one of those things that is so light it almost doesn't feel real. And it does a great job of holding my three dollars!

That, combined with a Bellroy card sleeve,

and I'm about as minimalist as I can get.
