Finally picked up the silver I inherited from my grandparents. My parents gave us the chest for it for our anniversary last Sunday

My office is within walking distance of an ABC store, so I picked this up last week. I've never had any of them before, and I'm pleased to say that I enjoy them all.

The Tullamore Special Reserve is incredibly smooth. Probably the smoothest 12-year I've had yet.

Whistlepig Rye is fantastic... if you like rye.

Michter's is pretty damn good. A little smokey and very sweet. Probably one of the cheaper "premium" bourbons around.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan... it's an experience to say the least. If you like smoke, peat, and complexity I think you'll like it.

Thanks for the reviews I've been meaning to try the whistlepig but being the only rye drinker I know was trying to find it in a bar first so I didn't get stuck with the bottle if I hated it.

Buddy of mine gave me a noddles of the Ardbeg last year. It goes amazing with really strong cigars like a double maduro. It's my got to know when I'm lighting up a Camacho triple maduro or barrel aged.

You lucky dog! If I had that kind of access, I'd never get any work done. That Whistlepig sounds interesting.

I've always tended to stick to the 2-cube max rule, but I wouldn't be opposed to using these.

Definitely get them. I have been drinking whisky and bourbon lately. keep these stones in the freezer. :icon17:

Damn, how did I miss this thread.

I just picked up the Farmstock today. It is smooth but not a lot of flavor on the palate. It does have a nutty caramel aftertaste, but definitely not worth the price. I'm disappointed since I'm a huge fan of the 10 and 12 year WPs

Those bottles are awfully full. I think you need to get your game face on and start drinkin! >D

I'll post up a pic tomorrow but after a fairly thorough trek through bourbons and ryes, I've settled on Redemption 9-Year as my absolute favorite bourbon ever.

Just picked up a pair of Martin Logan SLM speakers that I plan to wall mount next to the TV for a much cleaner look than the low quality floor speakers currently being used.

Also, my wife and I celebrated our 9th anniversary with a bottle of 1981 Château Lafite Rothschild :yum:
