Dude, if that's a garden spider then he's been noshing on some radioactive flies.

LiquidZ 03-16-2010 05:52 PM

That's not a spider, that's a head crab:

i used to work at a rental car company. one day this dude came to return the car. i drove the car to the backlot to give it a wash, so I drove it through the carwash then i saw this f*cking huge 5inch spider on the ceiling of the car staring at me. I opened the car door and jumped out as quick as possible while the car was still going thru the carwash.

I ran inside the office soaking wet, then I heard the dude said if anyone had seen his spider.

Never had a spider bite or a bee/wasp sting and I don't plan on starting now kthx.

They're definitely creepy, but I like messing with them and watching them. Weird weird "bugs." I don't always kill them, but it's usually easier.

You're not living if you haven't been bitten. I've had all those bites. Life is fun if you let it nibble on you.

I can't believe so many people are that freaked out by spiders and stuff. Seriously.

A few summers ago, my middle son who was probably 4 at the time (I wasn't there) was outside down in Albuquerque and was looking for bugs and 'stuff' in some wood piles. Later, his grandmother found a baby rattler in the tub and called us to ask about it. Apparently, my son had 'smuggled' it into the house which freaked out my wife and MIL when they heard that. It gets funnier.

They asked him how he got it in and why. He stuffed it into his underwear so they wouldn't know about it when he came in to play with it. LOL! That's my boy! Sneaky as ever.

I remember as a kid doing stuff like that, everyone remember those rollie-pollies you played with as a kid? Well imagine if they were huge...and lived in the water.

Funny Spider Story

A while back when I was living on Guam, my buddy Jimmy, me, and three others were out on a hilltop doing some antenna work. Jimmy saw one of the Banana Spiders that are all over Guam crawling across the pavement towards him. He screamed like a girl and leaped into the truck and locked the door. His eyes were as big as saucers. What struck me as the funniest was the locking of the truck door. I didn't stop laughing for about 15 minutes.:icon18:

I guess Archanophobia is real.
