yeah i mean if you believe widmore really is good then he was keeping them away from MIB in the cages....

and yeah MIB cant kill the canidates ( like what ghost boy jacob told him about sawyer) and they cant kill themselves directly ( like the dynamite scene with jack)

so MIBs plan was to have them all die together so there would be no more canidates and the game or whatever ends....

jack was right if they would have done nothing then the bomb wouldnt have gone off... but i assume MIB knew that sawyer with the guilt of juliet wouldnt let jack sit there and do nothing so by him disarming it ( the irony now is he is responsible for jin sun sayid and lapidus death just like jack was juliet)

... it went off and then you can get technical and say but isnt that like killing themselves? well i guess since sayid wasnt a canidate anymore that it blew him up and the sub sinking was a result of that so it wasnt directly them killing themselves... almost like another loophole.... the canidates can die they just cant be killed by MIB directly or kill themselves directly

so does that mean that sun was a canidate and not jin? if jin was then could he have stayed with her? isnt that suicide? might be a stretch i dunno
