Got my car back a week ago. Runs great. Think I got a shitty engine from factory but couldnt really do anything as I tuned it at 1200 miles (bearing went at 31,000). Rings didnt seat right for sure. All good now. Gonna grab maybe some Ohlins and ZR10s


$14,000 later sucks but it feels fantastic right now.

I've been following RacerX ordeal on you tube with his blown up Demon 170 motor. He posted a video this morning with the price of a replacement. Drumroll....

New motor = $28,000
Parts and Labor = $20,000

$48,000 for a car with less than 2000 miles on it. Dodge covered 100% of the cost under warranty, but still. 😬

As for NASCAR, I don’t understand the need for a 600 mile race. I might try to watch the last 30 laps, but most likely not.

All those guys sitting on their Demon 170's hoping to flip them for huge bucks better be paying attention. In three years they'll be without a warranty and thatll be $48,000 out of your pocket. I can't imagine anyone buying one once the warranty is up no matter how little miles are on it.
