This is hilarious! I thought I was the only one that thought this. When I was in my bulking phase and ordering 10 Big Mac's, I was hoping one of them would at least look like the menu picture. By the time I got them, they looked NOTHING like how they are advertised.

Ummm....are people really wondering why??

Fed's raising rates aggressively for the past 2 years, Fed's not increasing their balance sheet (letting them mature instead), quantitative tightening, fear of recession to name just a few....

The only wasteland area's are the large liberal cities. If the state hadn't turned liberal, it would be the perfect state. Show me a picture of those beautiful Florida mountain ranges

Tell that to the out-of-state people that came to FL. They can take their @$$es to CA.

And I personally don’t care much for mountains. They get in my way of the ocean views and being able to see farther out into the sunset.

This lawsuit has been tried many times. I remember reading an article that stated how they make a burger that pretty. A lot of plastic and I remember the mayo is Elmer's glue.

The out of state people that go to Florida, do it to save on taxes or are retired and want the warm weather year round. Not because it's a beautiful state. Us people that stay in California and deal with all the ********, do so because it is a beautiful state. live 2 blocks from the ocean. I can drive an hour and a half and have some of the best mountain canyon carving in the US.

LMAO "weather related"? So hurricane hunters have a much less advanced aircraft (compared to what the US Military has) and fly directly into hurricanes without any issues, but a multi-million dollar jet isn't able to withstand some rain?

And on the spy balloon, I still cannot understand the logic behind letting it go across the country before bringing it down. WHY???

I explained the F35s shortcomings in a previous post a couple pages back. Also, the more technologically advanced something is, the more sh1t can and will go wrong.

Hurricane hunters fly modified C-130 Hercules cargo planes, Military cargo planes. But the C-130 has been in service in some form or another since Vietnam. It’s a reliable military airframe. I personally love C-130s. It’s a fun bus in the sky.

As far as the spy balloon goes, one possibility they waited so long to shoot it down as so we could conduct counter intelligence ops. You can learn a lot from spying on how the enemy spy’s on you. Or they could have just fvcked up and should have shot it down sooner.

My take is our national air defense wasn’t set up to look for/flag slow moving objects, the Chinese figured this out and exploited this hole in our defenses. We realized they had got in our airspace too late so to save face and not publicly admit they “beat” us, we started conducting counter surveillance on the spy balloon and then shot it down.

As far as two missles costing 1 million each, that’s pretty typical costs for advanced smart guided weapons systems. I’m not sure why a burst of 20mm cannon fire from the F16 wouldn’t have more cheaply done the trick but I wasn’t in the room where those decisions got made.

Again, not everything is a conspiracy guys.

Rusty 09-23-2023 09:00 PM

Back home from watching my one grandson gradate from Marine boot camp. It was quite the experience. He has a 30 day leave instead of a 10 day leave because he has stress factions in his shins. My nephew's boy had them so bad that he didn't finish boot camp and ended up with a disability. Found out this is a common injury.

If they are spending billions of dollars of taxpayers money, they need to figure this out quick and get their sh!t together. Also, with advanced technology and knowledge/experience, this should be a breeze for them on what does/doesn't work.

I'm going with the latter on this.

If if we were "late" on noticing the foreign object in our airspace, it should NOT have it made more than halfway across the country for them to take notice, let alone take it down.

I never put a monetary figure on this, as I was not aware. My issue with this, though, is that they are using mine and every American taxpayer dollars and basically experimenting with it :gtfo2:

Again, they need to get their sh!t together or :gtfo2:
