Got the sand spread out and leveled.
1st pic. 4 ton of sand. 2nd pic. spreading it out. 3rd and 4th pic's. My version of The Wheel of Pain". Remember in the movie Conan the Barbarian". The Wheel of Pain" scene. This is mine. Walked around it for hours today. Leveling out the sand. :shakes head: Had 20 lbs of weights on each end of the 2x4 to help it dig into the sand starting out. Finished with just 5 lbs on the outside edge. |

Morning all! Looks like after today, the heat wave eases a bit. That'll be a good thing for the employees out on the floor! Single story building in the city, large flat roof, large furnaces - from May - October it gets pretty hot and stays pretty hot.
Russ, pool area looks great. You did a great job. |
Good morning everyone :hello:

Work in a power plant. The turbine building and the boiler feed pump buildings would be 115F in the winter. Summer time, you would just pass through and be soaked in sweat. :shakes head: |

Here, they open the bay doors in winter (the furnaces are on that side) so it stays manageable. Summer, it'll be 120 degrees in there every day. Most of the HT crew comes in around 5 am and tries to get loaded before noon. Director of Mfr lets them leave if they are done loading, to try and keep them from roasting. |

we would have found dust behind it if it had a hole. It was squeaky clean, comp can stuff the "it ate something" excuse |

The fact they said eat a bag of dicks when I reached out to them is what pissed me off and the fact Sasha didnt bother to at least say let me check into it. No messages, no calls, no emails or texts. Then he is buying turbos and had called them 3 times ect ect. Uh, how about clue me into this ****? Wouldnt have spent another $3k+ to fix the issue. |
