Morning :hello: back to work to earn money to buy parts that I feel like I'll never find time to install because without fail on the weekend work calls and tells you users are having issues with some software and they need it fixed ASAP. At least I love my job and my coworkers are great otherwise I think I'd be going crazy by now.

johnxxx 04-26-2021 07:11 AM

Rented it for 3 days on DirecTV for 19.99.

Tried to install the coolerworx shifter over the weekend. Don't have the necessary tools get the top bolts off of the shifter brace that's towards the top of the boot. Said screw it and will just install on Madwi's in June.

That movie is going to be awesome with Jason Statham.

Time to have the crack dealer stop at your house, you'll have all the tools you need & a tool box that will make mine and Joby's look like carry-ons... :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

Brb. Calling Harbor Freight :rofl2:

NissanTracker 04-26-2021 11:26 AM

Haha... Harbor Freight. Just picked up an engine hoist from them this weekend. 1 ton for 149.00. Can't beat that. Let the TT Engine build commence!

With that said, Z1 still kicking @ss with fast shipping. Ordered some stuff Saturday and It will arrive today.

Dad passed a couple hour ago. He's not in pain anymore.

If you have parents alive call em. Go hug em. Listen to their BS that drives you nuts.

Joby go yell "LOVE YOU DAD" 6 or 7 times to make sure he heard it. And tell him I'm thinking about you two visiting and it cracks me up. Take him fishing more often, your car can wait.

The last 4 weeks have been the hardest chit I've ever had to deal with and the next month looks to be pretty rough. But my game face is on, fridge is packed, Xanax on auto refill, family is here or on the way. I got this.

Ghostvette 04-26-2021 02:26 PM

Condolences Bill. We're here if you need to vent... :(

zeeder 04-26-2021 02:29 PM

My condolences as well. It's nearing one year from my mom's death and it's definitely tough. I console myself that she is no longer in pain and discomfort!

Rusty 04-26-2021 02:42 PM

Bill, very sorry to hear this. :( Sometimes words can not describe on how you feel. Having lost both my parents. I have an idea on how you are feeling. Remember all the good times you had with him. Forget all the bad. That's how you want to remember him. You was there for him at the end. That's all of what counts. You did what you could. You maybe thinking that you could have done more. That is what hurts. :(

We are all here for you.

Hotrodz 04-26-2021 02:55 PM

Much love my friend! You have as much as you could do during your dad's last days. You a good dutiful son and I know he appreciated all you did. We morn with you and I pray for strength and peace for you and your family. Remember your hurt is directly proportional to your love for him and that is a good thing.

Remember the good times and the bad times. They are all worth remembering to me. I didn't get a chance to say Goodbye to my mother. I wish I would have. None of us did. I hope I get that chance with my father.

jchammond 04-26-2021 06:00 PM

And tonight’s featured special “Stagecoach”

Sorry for your loss Bill, as words can’t cover all the hurt.
Fishing season is about here...as dad’s coming over Saturday morning for a service on his pickup.

My brain is still mush and a ton of stuff to do tomorrow :icon14: going to try to relax for an hour or two before then

Sorry for your loss. I recently lost my younger brother and it's been a bumpy ride. I have been more active on this forum since. Seems to be genuine people here and the ***** and giggles have helped. Good luck and yes, cars can most certainly wait. I spend more time with my parents and make sure my kids are first before work/cars/hobbies.

Rusty 04-26-2021 08:06 PM

Prayers for Bill and his family reps. :tiphat:
