The lower control arm i had to have replaced in the G a while back has gone bad again. Same shop that did a bang up job on my kids car did that. Not even sad that place burnt down now. Parking the G and going to DD the Z for a bit. Might have to trade off the G. Don't have the time or extra funds to fvck with it right now. I can get the brakes and cats off it in half a day and I'm at least even or better on trade. Called off work indefinitely. Told them I'll be back when I'm back. Don't much care one way or the other right now. Way too much other chit going and worste case ill just go negative into future pto. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

Did more work on the truck today.
1st pic. Got around 18" of suspension travel in the front. 2nd pic. Measuring for limit straps to keep the front springs from falling out. 3rd pic. Replaced the rear brake line with a 4" longer stainless brake hose. And added spacers to my air bags to keep them from pulling apart. The rear suspension has about 16" of suspension travel. Enough that my rear drive shaft hits the rear cross member. 4th pic. The PITA braKe line to brake hose junction. :shakes head: Sprayed the chit out of it with Blaster. The line wrench started to round off the flare nut. :icon14: Got my small pipe wrench out, and worried that nut loose. Took me a while, but I got it. Got great brake pedal now. |
After working on the truck. Cut the grass. Pressure washed the mower. Took the blades off and sharped them. Changed the oil in it. Took the sparkie plug out. Have to get a new one tomorrow. First time for a plug. It's 10 yrs old.

And tonight’s featured special (-0:30) “The Alamo”

How many miles are on your Power Wagon? |

Lol..I just noticed. Thanks! Just been extremely busy. Client changed ownership...again (3rd time in the past 4 years), and the new owners are super corporate - the exact thing that caused me to go solo. :shakes head: Howve you been?? |

The Z has been cooped up in the garage for over a year. I got really lazy during the lock down and just recently decided to finish installing the fix kit for the top. Prior to that, diff bushing has held up, all 5 or so threads that the nut is holding onto... |

Got the garage wired up with lights finally. Gonna order a small TV, mount, and chrome cast so I can play Futurama when wrenching on the car this summer.

What a damn day. So i planned to install my oil catch cans for the 370, but my daily (2004 Toyota Rav4 @ 32K miles, but a rust bucket) decided to freeze a caliper a couple weeks back and i did C.P.R on it and the rear passenger side heated up big time... AGAIN! Turns out, e-brake cable was frozen. Probably why the caliper failed....
So... in order to replace e-brake cables on this... have to drop the gas tank. Phuck that. I just cut the old e-brake cable and routed a new one. Knowing this thing sat and just rusted... i PB blasted and heated any bolt I had to remove.. Summary... Had to re tap 5 bolts. Well, i then find out that the rear spring is cracked! Snapped a control arm bolt and now have to tow this P.O.S to get it extracted. Anywhooo.... |
Went for a drive today. Had fun.
