I'm alive. Gonna try to throw the mirrors on today and finally realign the steering wheel since it's off by 1 spindle.

Not really. What could be behind the heat shield? The rattle has gotten way louder, but only happens when put into reverse now. And Susan says she can smell the exhaust when driving, but it no longer sounds like it has an exhaust leak.

Hard to say without poking around under it. Next time I do an oil change I'll take a closer look at it.
