I've done it a couple of times before with the motor home towing the Jeep. Houston I10 during rush hour is no fun either.

Done that, It is not bad. Atlanta and DC are a close running on which one is worse. South on I-95 coming out of DC traffic is bumper to bumper all the way to Fredericksburg, Va. Coming out of Atlanta it can be bumper to bumper all the way to Forsyth, Ga. IF it is raining, you are done for.

Lowered eng/trans onto my scaffold yesterday :icon14: Probably a bit overloaded.
Rolled outside & prepped for a good degreasing/washing
Then rolled over to the side, so I could get the Z out the garage...& that was a slight adventure :owned:
Engine back inside & ready to strip down :iagree:
Gonna be taking engine South, by end of the month  As I can hear the rabbit hole calling :rofl2:

Good Sunday Morning All. 89* for a high today with 0% chance of rain. Not much on the list today other than watching the Cowboy game and a trip to the food king for steaks for grilling tonight. :yum: Hope you all have a Great Sunday. Stay Safe, Stay Positive and Keep Washing those Hands.

Cupcakez selling his car on FB for "at least the payment remaining, $9100" while failing to disclose any issues other than it reading rich on bank 1... :shakes head:

On the one hand, that's a great price even if you part it out, put in a new engine, and sell it yourself. On the other hand, it was owned by Cupcakez, and if ever there was a person that God decided to make the karmic recipient of penalties for mankind's collective stupidity, it is Cupcakez.

Lot of work to do all by yourself... wow. Guess you'll manage to build a custom pallet/crate, strap it down on it and throw it on the back of the pickup I see in the background for transport? I'd say shipping would be just as easy and cost effective but I'm sure you want to see the shop and have a face to face discussion while you're there.
That fact that you'll be doing most of the work yourself is saving you a lot of money for labor.... you could now spend on more hardware! :happydance:
Good job JC. Progress!

1st: With 5 kids, I needed to be able to switch cars with the wife in order to own a 2-seated. She doesn't drive manual.

2nd: Atlanta traffic sucks ballZ

3rd: Is a tie - The 370Z has a crappy clutch that breaks (CSC) / My left leg has a crappy foot that breaks (Ulcers). Unfortunately Z1 doesn't make a replacement for the foot.

I can attest to that. The Katy Freeway, which is the western Houston part of I-10, is the most traveled freeway in the nation. My office is on the feeder of I-10. Thankfully I’m only on it for a mile before I get off it.

Indeed. But an auto Z is better than no Z. Driving Z's make things better.

Some people you just can't help no matter how hard you try.

At this point. I just want to blow him up. God hasn't given that boy any brains or senses. The karma wheel of good luck never had his name on it.
