I feel great so I get to go straight home. I still have the trach and feeding tubes for a few more weeks. My wife is a retired nurse so she will be working with me on that.

I wound up having 4 surgeries during my stay here that totaled 27 hours on the slab. Even had to endure “leech therapy” where they attached leeches to my tongue to eat blood clots.

Having had my neck dissected three separate times, I have extra swelling that most patients don’t have, so they cut me some slack and kept me under their watchful eye in ENT Specialty ICU the whole time and then will let me go straight home

After being written off by a few Doctors, here is a picture of me and my Surgeon that saved my life... She was the only one to give me an option to be able to live. I may just have her over to the house someday for some bacon and beer.
