Swearing is 90% of how I keep my frustration in check, say for example when I start my day being told I need to submit vast amounts of paperwork to a customer to get them to fix a problem they caused... and which is currently preventing us from shipping a part which they need.

I'm half tempted to ignore the request and let them sort it out when they get desperate.

You'd fit in perfectly here. Yell at the user and call them dumb. Sit on the ticket they make for 2 weeks and then close it out with a resolution of "it fixed itself after user stopped touching it"
