The New “What did you do with your Z today” (with off topic replies) XXXVII

Got it installed with minimal issue. Hardest part was the black shroud inside the old steering wheel having to be removed and popped perfectly in place to the new one. First time I did it, the bottom of the airbag wouldn't seat correctly and poked out.

It'll take some getting use to for driving. The glossy carbon fiber when turning is messing with me. Feels good handling though and way more comfy than stock.

Oh, and EW can really suck it now. I did this all by myself.

Get leather driving gloves.

Also consider ceramic coating the CF so it doesn't get dinged from all your finger jewelry.

Never any finger jewelry. But good idea coating it. And any recommendations on gloves?

I would not do that. That would be like putting Armor All on your leather steering wheel. Accident waiting to happen.
