Well how the hell is everyone? Yes I am back from the dead so too speak! Just been busy AF since about my birthday. We had friends and family over for a few days. My brother and wife surprised me with a great gift. They invited my first best friend from kindergarten to my birthday festivities. We have stay in touch over the years including some time together when we were in college. It was so much fun telling stories of days long ago.

Also I want to say thank you for all the birthday wishes you sent out. I appreciate all of your well wishes.

Things are progressing quickly with the Z as Precision Garage and Racing are quickly completing various projects on the Z so I can take it to Specialty Z in a couple of weeks. If you follow me or them on Instagram their have been several picture of the progress.

We are headed by to Boise, ID on Wed to pick up the new to me bird dog. Really looking forward experiencing a different breed of pointing dog. I have hunted, trained and hunt test judged more pointing breeds than I can almost remember but this breed is new to me and so far I have been nothing but impressed.

So there you have and you are up to speed on my shenanigans as I see nothing much has changed here...bacon, the weather and dead actors cowboy movies!:hello:

jchammond 06-28-2020 05:35 PM

And tonight’s featured special “The Gunfight At Dodge City”

jchammond 06-28-2020 06:26 PM

And a premature post of July 5th movie special feature “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”

Worked in the yard pretty much all morning. My buddy worked in the garage on his Range Rover pretty much all day. I really wanted to grab a drink, but I'm at the office now

Life full of fun and adventure.

madwi 06-28-2020 07:15 PM

So much stuff living in the garage. It should be an Olympic sport fitting it all into cabinets and drawers.

Rusty 06-28-2020 07:51 PM

Busy day.

Got JL's diff brace finished.

Found the rattle in the Z. It was in the right FI exhaust can, in the tip. The expanded metal with holes was loose in the tip. I tack welded it in a couple of different places. Used 308 SS wire with Argon gas in my MIG welder. I also put a couple of tack welds in the left tip too.

I noticed that the top of both my SS FI cans are flattening out. :icon14: They are no longer round. You can't tell until you put your hand on it to feel. :icon14:

While waiting for the motorhome to show up. I washed and waxed the Z. I still have to clean the inside this week.

Motorhome came home. Did my walk through, paperwork. The renters was 2 Hindu couples. Real nice people. They wanted to take pictures with me and the motorhome. Said they had a great time.

Odd that you mention the tops of the cans being flat. I noticed that yesterday when polishing them. Thought it had always been that way.

I would love some garage time.

madwi 06-28-2020 08:38 PM

I chopped the top off a big clump of garlic and poured some olive oil over the top and set it on the grill. I drizzled the oil over it as it cooked. Turned out really awesome. No idea what I am going to do with it. :icon17:

Go to Home Depot in the morning before 7am. Stand outside. When I drive up in my truck and hold out 3 fingers out the window. That means I need 3 people for work. You have to be quick and jump in the back of the truck. If you ain't quick enough. You will get beat out for work. I pay well. A 6 pack of beer, and a pizza for lunch.

You need a garlic roaster. Take a clove of garlic. Slice the top off. Put it in the roaster with a pat of butter on top the clove. 60 seconds in a microwave and you're eating good.

Just don't make the mistake I did one time. I was watching Monday Night Football. Made the first clove. Then the second........... Ended up eating 6 cloves during the game. I smelled like garlic for a week. :shakes head:
