That corned beef was pretty darn good when we went. Although Susan is all hyped to get back to PA for labor day just so we can stop at Sheetz again. All she talks about are how good the french toast sticks were she got for breakfast on the trip back.

madwi 07-18-2020 08:31 AM

They said it might hit 100 today. Im kinda chilly sitting in front of the fan in the garage.

madwi 07-18-2020 08:41 AM

As posted above, I went to the new Harbor Freight and bought some stuff the other day. Whilst there, I saw several roll-around tool boxes that looked like something I would like to have. Are HF tool boxes any good (ie, will they hold up over time)? I don't want to spend more than $300-350 so I'm not expecting to get a huge, super-heavy-duty model.

I have one of the larger 44" boxes and am a huge fan. Have one of the smaller ones with a soft-top that's on a cart, no real complaints there either.

Done for now.

I'm going to let it get nice and hot in the car and see if I can't get it to lay down a little bit in the middle.

BoneZ 07-18-2020 11:11 AM

But even as is it looks better than that PRND crap.

madwi 07-18-2020 11:14 AM

I think it may be time to cruise the Z. It is getting hot hot hot out there!

You could have ordered a shorter boot from redline goods. I ordered a 1" shorter boot when I installed my coolerworx shifter. They have even shorter boots.

I didn't want to risk it being too short. I can always make this one shorter.

Side marker light/blinker lenses. They still need to be smoked.

No more pain.

Unfortunately, I am very familiar. I can only drive about 20min in my truck before the cartilage falls back in the joint and I am in sever pain. I had to get hay today. It was not perty. I am surprised the steering wheel survived.

I like it. Smoked is going to look great.

Okay, okay, okay. Last purchase for awhile (maybe :stirthepot:) but I just sent Charles @ Powertrix an email asking if any CF Mine's Style were in stock. That thing is b!tchin'! Not too flashy either. Gotta get my hands on it.

Hoping they have one in stock and ready to ship, in a few weeks I'll be changing addresses and don't want to mess with any forwarding processes...

Last exit in Indiana before Ohio on I70. Stopped at a Cracker Barrel for dinner. Surprised to find one open. No masks required.
