last picture, middle thing on bread. How you suppose to eat that? Mash it down? eat the top layer first and work your way down? slice off a chunk? :icon08:

It was gruyere mac & cheese spread. The noodles were cooked to the point of almost being mush. you'd mash/spread it evenly over the bread and eat that way.

From a plating standpoint, it's very appetizing due to the height and texture differences. From a food to mouth standpoint, it's asinine and totally not worth the effort.

Blew Susan's mind the first time I told her she could eat the flowers garnishing her salad and the gold leaf garnish on the smoked salmon.

Screw baking. Can't stand making fondant or cooling frosting to a specific temp to make roses.

Cooking is like alchemy to me. Toss shyt into a pot and see what comes out. Baking is a freaking science down to the gram.

They usually garnish with Kale leaves. The same thing Pizza Hut use to decorate salad bars with during the 90's. Totally edible.

Bringing me to a sushi place is bad idea. It is one of my favorite things on earth and I can pack it away. My old boss and I went to a place in Phx. and we had ordered about 8 or 9 different rolls and sashimi and you name it. They dropped the bill at the table and we started laughing. Told them we were just getting started! More Sake!
