Hi all! Hope you lot are doing well. Campus is a COVID-19 sh*tshow right now with school back in session, but the roommates and I are still healthy and doing well.

Front sway bar went on today! Took it for a rip on a nice road nearby, and my goodness is that cornering ability so much better--it felt like butter coming through those turns. +1 to Rusty for recommending I go with the Hotckis Front and an LSD for the Baylor Driving Club AutoX competitions.

Seems like I have more fuel pump issues, the check engine light is back on. Going to get it checked out here pretty soon.

Side note: My battery (less than 2 years old) and brake lights both come on when I start the car, and the voltage meter reads 12V. As I begin to drive, the voltage bumps up to 14V, stabilizes, and both of the lights turn off. Any indication as to what is going on? Some research has me thinking something may be wrong with the alternator? EDIT: This seems separate from the CEL. Got a diagnosis and the shop said the code was fuel related (they couldn't provide me a code number exactly [no biggie], as they were doing it out of courtesy while installing the front sway).

Much love, hope y'all have a great evening :tiphat:

Firing some chicken up on the grill to go on top of homemade eggplant bread and faux-ricotta cheese w quick-pickled red onions. Maybe watch some Forged in Fire afterwardZ.

Changed out my cabin filter and yes, I admit it, I freakin dropped that 7th screw ( yeah you guys know which one ) and it fell behind the glove box and if that wasn't bad enough it actually dropped in the hole for the glove box and I couldn't shake it out so I had to take the glove box off the frame by disconnecting wiring and cable stops and now I'm like  10 minute job turned into an hour.

I'm now the forum SME for answering any Q's glove box related. :rofl2:

I feel as though I'm not alone here and there are stories to tell...:stirthepot:

You going to ask them if you can remove the staples yourself? When I had the staples removed from my left side when I had the kidney surgery. I asked if I could remove the ones I could reach. The doc gave me the gun, and said "have at it". :rofl2: I got to remove about 10 staples.

No, I think I’m going to let them do it. They need to have an opportunity to bill the insurance company for something...
