I have an old iPod that only works while plugged in. I have it on you of those speaker docks. |

Edit* one has inputs for rca type connectors, I bet a 3.5mm split to that would work. |

Wow...I’ve probably bought 5-6 Onkyo receivers over my life time. The newest one is 4k and powers everything in my movie room. Then I have an older one that is in the living room but it’s only function is to power the speakers on the patio. |

Trying to find an all in one type unit. Networked, one or two HDMI in-> one out, FM, bluetooth, wireless/wired, 3.5mm audio input. Not asking for much.

My garage setup is an old WinXP laptop running foobar2000, a USB HDD with MP3s, FLACs, APEs, etc, and some old Harman-Kardon powered computer speakers. I set foobar to random play and slap the space bar if I want to skip a song. It will get loud enough to make conversation difficult but it won't blow you out of the garage.

It would be really nice to have a receiver be able to pull movies or music from a VM running Plex or something like it and still be able to use voice commands from Alexa to control music from their streaming service.

Pretty sure my Onkyo has all that, but I don’t recall if I hooked it up to the WiFi. |

I just create playlists for car work. Might not be a song I’m in the mood, but they all good. |
I just tell alexa to play classic rock or whatever im in the mood for. She usually picks a good playlist.

These look interesting...
