No way in hell does my Z need 34 rows. Wouldn't that be overkill?

Z1 25 Row is $620 with all of my options, shipping and tax.

F.I 34 Row is $630 with all of my options, and the website won't let me add it to cart right now. But sales tax alone would bring it to nearly $700.

So again, do I cancel my Z1 and get the 34 row? Why go up 9 rows on a street car?

Good job, 34 row was the correct one to buy too. Given your location, the 34 wont be overkill at all.

If you buy the Boosted Performance Twin Turbo kit, it comes with a cooler!

Afternoon everyone, and happy Friday! Woke up and went straight to the auto parts store. Secured my first ever jack and jack stands today. Also got some never dull, wheel cleaner, and rain-x, so I'll be spiffing up the car tonight over a few drinks.

Took pictures of the sport rays for two quotes: what it would cost to fix a couple of smudges here and there on the whole set, and what it would cost to get a deep bronze or King Sport powdercoat (or other). I'm probably going to stick with just the touch-up, but you never know.

Hope everyone is doing well this fine, hot as sh!t summer day.

Who did you get your quotes from regarding fixing the rash on your wheels??

Working with Wheel Recon, JAR recommended them. $700 for the whole set to be powdercoated in King Sport Grey, or $195 a wheel for the OEM Hyper Silver powdercoat.

I can't allow myself to drop $800 for touch up*. Missed opportunity for trying out a new color by spending that much. If it's cheaper to run King Sport, I may be interested in it. Told WR I'll sleep on it for a few nights and wait for my next paycheck :rofl2:

*: WR said they arent comfortable with touch-up on the Rays because of how sensitive the color match is. Something about a difficult process, they don't want to sell an imperfect product, painting it black first, yada yada. I totally understand that, but it means $195 a wheel for a fresh job.

FI runs -8 AN, Z1 runs -10 AN. Unlike some things, wider is better with oil cooler lines.

I don't speak that language, but I'm assuming that means FI's are wider? Good news.

-8 is 1/2" -10 is 5/8"
the Z1 kit uses larger lines
as short as the lines are it makes absolutely no difference.
from what I'm told the FI lines/fittings are of better quality, I'll know in a few days when mine shows up
The FI kit comes with a OEM oil cooler/warmer delete standard
