These'll blow you right over and out the door.

Slept like a rock last night. Since last Wednesday, been having trouble sleeping with a cracked rib. Can't find a comfortable position to sleep in without applying pressure to the rib cage. :shakes head:

I was going to ask the same thing. At his age, he was probably just getting out of bed. :icon17:

I didn't say anything until now. Was trying to find the issue with my aftermarket gauges at my son's place in NM. Was trying to twist around and get under the dash on the right side. My feet slipped and my ribs on the left side took my full weight on the seat bolster. That fvckin' hurt! Bad part, I broke those ribs before. :shakes head: My left side is a bit tender. Coughing and sneezing is out of the question for now. :shakes head:

Harbor Freight is at it again. CHEAP Chinese junk. Glad I buy very little from them.

Recalled the the replacement jackstands for the recalled jackstands.

Diff is draining. :postwhore:

madwi 07-19-2020 12:38 PM

I've never had good luck with their stuff. Use it one time and it breaks. Toss in garbage can. :shakes head:

Afternoon everyone. Not too many plans today, with the Z or otherwise. Lots of relaxing and waiting for the week to start so all of my goodies can be delivered :stirthepot:

Esco jacks are definitely not from HF. There is only a few things at HF worth buying. If a one off job ill never use the tool for again, HF all the way. If I plan on using it twice, ill buy something good. That said, there is a good thread on garagejournal about pass/fail items from HF. Their Daytona floor jacks are awesome. In fact snap on sued them because they are identical.

You can get a decent fan at that place :rofl2:

Esco stands are top notch

HF is hit or miss. Some things like the Daytona floor jack is the best deal on a quality jack you can find. They have a ton of throw away tools but they have some stuff that is fairly decent. The Icon line is pretty good if they have a coupon going. They are as good as Tekton or any other middle of the road wrench or socket. It's priced about the same as Tekton but they have 20% coupons every now and then.:twocents:

One thing I do not like about the icon wrenches I have is they mar the heck out of a fastener.

HDD is going out in the laptop  Backed up all the important stuff. Just need it to not eat itself until I get home to clone it to another drive

It's needed an ssd since day one and I might as well toss more ram in it since it's opened up.

It should be ok as long as I just do nothing but my daily reports. I can breeze though those in a few minutes. The little man in the hard drive doesn't start banging on the door for a good 20 min

My laptop makes all kinds of weird noises. Sometimes is sounds like a bearing freezing up.

madwi 07-19-2020 03:55 PM

Last cigar from get together. Pretty good one.

Lein: What is the cigar marked G2?

Rusty 07-19-2020 03:55 PM

Washed to outside of the Z. 2+ weeks of road trip bugs buried into the front bumper paint. :icon14: Now to clean the inside. :icon14:

That is another good one they have.

The high end welders have really good reviews also.

Could you imagine taking Jobys tool budget to HF/Tekton/Gearwrench? It's 2 complete turbo builds
