Gonna build some low ramps for the Z this afternoon with my new circular saw

That way I can ditch those Hazard Freight jack stands I have; I'll just give them to someone I don't like

Then it's attempted murder but you have a decent defense of impossibility.

If they did fail, then you provided someone with a deadly device with the intent that it cause their death, and they did in fact die from the device. Like playing Russian Roulette and your buddy's luck runs out. Cut and dried murder charge.
