someone on the GTR forum found the article on my tuner.

per the article it seems that someone hit him in the GTR and caused the wreck. roads are soaked so i assume it wasnt him doing pulls or anything.

You have every right to ask for a refund for a service you purchased that the shop is no longer capable of providing.

The legal terms of arts are a unilateral contact and failure to perform due to impossibility.

i would have to assume they went right into the driver door if they had minor injuries and he's dead.

also i saw it was a GTR that the owner built like it was a civic with cheap stuff hence why the tuner was having to do work.

They were going the opposite directions. The fusion Tboned the GTR, at least according to this article.

Sure looked like it was on a straight section of the road. But I guess you can't really tell from the photo in that one article.

yea he was a good guy. i never even had given him money and he would go back and forth on texts with me about different parts, options, info, etc...

hell, first time i hit the drag strip and texted him my stock time he was mad i didnt take a laptop was gonna send me a tune to my OEM setup to drop my 11.0 into the 10s. only a handful of OEM gtr's ever hit 10's and mine is one. i did 11.0 on terrible tires. might go hit it again with the cup 2's now.

Happened to me once, long ago. Not my favorite.

JARblue 04-20-2020 10:21 AM

The blind curve makes sense though. Wet road exacerbated the loss of control in the AWD GT-R. I'm guessing the camera angle is from the top or downhill side of the curve coming around to the straight.

Slow. 25ish in a 40 mph zone. I was on guard because the weather was weird - raining but very cold. Descending a hill, I hit a patch of ice. Car shot abruptly to the right, impacted the shoulder of the road. Blew both tires, bent the frame of the car. I was unharmed. Cop happened to be driving just a bit behind me, pulled over to make sure I was ok. We're both on the shoulder, and a 2nd driver hits the same patch I did, comes flying directly at us. Regained control in time to miss us, barely. Both myself and the officer had a code brown moment.
