Haha welllll that's a whole 'nother thing. It could be argued in both cases, we've reaped the benefits of our investment, in that we are the world reserve currency for a reason. There are some good points in favor of isolationism, but undoubtedly our unprecedented level of global dominance came partly as the result of British support, which, as you point out, we payed them for quite heavily. Of course, we also did a lot to hasten the collapse of their empire.

But doesn’t China have most US currency? We can’t deny the US Dollar is the global currency unless bitcoin overtakes it. The Euro has collapsed

The Brits and the French really screwed up the middle East when they broke up the Ottoman Empire. The Brits were in decline before WW1.

Alive and well here in the sunny south... tossed plastic at 96 holes yesterday. That took about 8 hours when you incorporate the 6 miles walked to make it happen...

(Wish Jar was here so I could make a couple dollars off of him.)

Uh no, you're talking about treasury backed securities, and you misunderstand what I'm talking about as far as world reserve currency.

As long as it's just your name! Otherwise we'll have to ask the price of a Bettyz BJ!

Leingod 04-29-2020 11:58 AM

Spoiler arrived this morning! Definately got this at a steal of a price. It's in pristine condition. Now to figure out what to do with a few thousand packing peanuts...

I just got a really nice thank you card from the staff here regarding the care packages... Rent is a few days away. Round 2 coming up. A reminder to myself how truely blessed I am, and saddens me to think they are struggling through no fault of their own.
If any of you are in the position to help your fellow neighbors who are struggling, please do so!
/PSA -off

that should work. One tip, get the leading corners lined up just right on both sides and the spoiler will kinda snap into place. Not really an audible snap but you get what I mean, it will line up perfectly but may need a little persuasion as it is a really tight fit.

And I assume you used that black gasket stuff to adhere for yours followed by just clamping as many areas as possible?

I dont know if the stuff I used is available anymore but any body panel adhesive, not gasket maker should work. I prefer 3M products.

So Spoiler showed up a your place. Did he smell like bacon? Figure he would wrap himself with bacon and not packing peanuts before being shipped.
