Forget about 9mm and .223/5.56. Can't even find bullets to reload those. Powder is is either out of stock or limited supply. About the only out there is the oddball stuff or the stuff that cost more than a dollar per shot, large caliber.

Please keep us updated. Would be good to know first hand on how this virus progresses. Any idea on how you caught it?

Wifey needed to get out of the house, and the Z needed a shake down run. So we took a ride up to the one state park in the mountains. The place was packed with people. The Rails to Trails bike path was full of people. It's like nothing is happening with these people. We just drove through, never stopped.

Did chickens go extinct? I'm looking for a dozen eggs. On our drive. We stopped at 3 Walmarts, and 4 grocery stores looking for eggs. You couldn't even tell that they had eggs at all. All 3 Walmarts and 3 of the stores were pretty much wiped out on meat too. But the one store had a good selection of meat yet. Seeing more and more people wearing masks.

It was nice getting the Z back out. Felt sooooo good rippin' through the gears and running to red line. :driving:

I have a ton of .45 .22 and .30 bullets and an even more aa2230 IMR4895 and w231 and all the brass and primers you'll ever need.

Now your car's surface area has traces of the virus. Time to go wash her with antibacterial soap, followed by a good waxing.

I've actually asked around if they would take TP as payment.... :ugh2:

It's always a good feeling when you're able to take out the Z and let her roar.

So I heard through the grapevine that Dollar General/Family Dollar/Dollar Tree/etc. also had a crapload of stuff. I went by a couple of them, and sure enough, they had everything, minus meats. Surprisingly, one even had TP on pallets, to which I asked if there was a limit, and they said no. They also stated that not many people apparently know about what they sell.

I forgot to mention. On the way home from our Z ride. Stopped at the local DQ and got Blizzards to go. :yum: I'm eating mine now after dinner.

I'm sitting on 15,000 loaded rounds, 15,000 primers, thousands of cast bullets, 60 pounds of powder, and about 2,000 rounds of shotgun shells, (20ga, 16ga, and 12ga). That's what I get for reloading for about 20 different calibers. :icon14:

Sounds like a fun afternoon at the range. I have bucket loads of brass. But none are prepped. Cleaning and prepping is the absolute worse part for me.

Cleaning. I deprime and drop them in the ultra sonic tank for about 30 minutes. Then put them in the dryer for about an hour. I love prepping them. That's my quite time. When I was shooting competition. Just about every weekend. I was shooting between 500 to 1,000 rounds. When I worked for the DoD. A 500 rounds a day was nothing. About the only time I didn't shoot daily with the DoD, was when they would ship me to Europe on assignment.
