But what do I do for the other 23 hours and 58 minutes? :nutswinger:

All the folks in big cities freaked out. Nothing new. Live out in the country, folks don't act like that. We help each other. People have just been acting stupid and selfish.

I've been through major hurricanes in FL, however, I have never seen it this bad in my life in the grocery stores, where even basic everyday items, such as toothpaste and TP, are scarce and the meat cases and freezers being completely empty. It's actually a really eerie sight and feeling, and not even a month ago, all these stores shelfs were packed to the brim. And now, I can't even find peanut butter and jelly, or even cheap frozen pizza, to be available for purchase. (On a side note, whey protein also seems to be scarce also and my workouts feel like somewhat of a waste.) The past week alone, I have spent well over $2000 just in groceries, and that's just on what I could manage to find vs what I need/want.

Based on Zoren370's post, I am really hoping they find a vaccine/cure for this bullsh!t virus, and I really hope pharmaceutical companies put profits aside and see to it that people get the treatment they need.

Just image if a zombie apocalypse happened. If this keeps up for 4 weeks. You'll see mobs. :(

Epidemiologists @ UPenn, writing in the NYT, stated that we'll go through 3 or 4 waves of infection and subsequent PANICK and social distancing/economic death. Bus drivers in Detroit refused to run thei routes bc the buses weren't disinfected. CPD has squads on all the Chicago grocery distribution warehouses. They're escorting the semis from the warehouses to the retail locations. They also have no masks, gloves, or sanitation equipment. What's gonna happen when 50% of the force is out sick?

Don’t they paint a cross on the doors. Like they did during the bubonic plague era?

My plan for today is fire up my Husqvarna Chainsaw. Have got tree surgeons in, cutting down a 30 foot tall Bay hedge to 6 foot.
I think I have enough logs for the next 3 years

Sorry
To anyone trying to get into the town I live in, the traffic management they’ve put up is causing 4 mile tailbacks. On the bright side it would have been worse if it wasn’t for this virus

Sounds like the amount I’ve spent on fasteners for my garage :wtf2:
