Destroyed the demon bolt in 30 seconds with minimal effort. The car has 100K miles and has been sitting for a year. No PB Blaster or nothing. That's what having the right tools will do
Gotta finish up some work. I'll post up pics later  |

Anyway, I was asking more out of curiosity than for any other reasons. I dd my Z, and love it. Have a truck when the weather demands it. |

Dude, definitely RTV the gaskets! don't be dumb like me and have to go back and fix it haha. |
Oh and I bought a set of Hotchkis billet sway bar bushing brackets from a local forum member the other day. I knew I wasn't going to need the rears, but little did I know... I don't need the fronts either.
Yesterday I pulled out the front sway bar I purchased last summer and the previous owner had left the billet brackets on there  :icon17: |

Yeah, i guess to clarify the WRX is much better than the STi in terms of reliability. from what i've read, people get in trouble when they try to crank the boost up on the FA20. It's already running a 10:6 compression ratio with about 20+ PSI of boost flat out. Supposedly, you can eclipse the STi in power easily in a WRX because of the direct injection system. STis need fuel upgrades to get back in front of the WRX. Edit: the other option is to wait for the 2021 model being released soon. |

I made the trip without incident but the state boys were out in force! Sneaky sneaky sitting on the entrance ramps shooting the rears. |

Yeah it doesn’t have the nicest options...wheels are not black, no ceramic breaks CF pieced etc. I would say its a more like base one.. 160K is still a good price for a 2019 model. With 2K miles I think your Dads bid for wholesale is generous. Because a 16 or 17 models sells at that price range retail 135K to 150K The maintenance will kill you. $800 for oil change. But If I get a super model GF with that car I would say worth the money! |

McLaren prices depreciates as bad as Covid19 economic meltdown!
Reliability is a big issue with British cars! Ask Asht! Lol |

What happened to the guts and gory we had? Until now I still have crabs! |

The leasing costs for Mclaren’s last year were ridiculously cheap for the car. Reliability isn’t as bad for Brit cars as they used to be, but then most British car manufacturing is either Japanese or German - it’s not like the old British Leyland days Saying that German reliability isn’t great either (Bentley Continental is based on a VW Phaeton which has dodgy electrics as does the Audi A8) have cars got too complicated for their own good? Although.... https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...95a6d0c25d.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The 3/8 drive 14mm Harbor Freight socket cracked like an egg a while back. I knew it would lol. The Snap-on 1/2 to 3/8 drive adaptor/36 inch extension along with Snap-on 14mm swivel socket were doing ok but I could tell the 3/8 drive wasn't quite enough. I had a Harbor Freight 3/8 drive impact universal swivel that was in between them and as soon as I put any force on it the thing broke apart (repairable but not able to withstand the demon bolt torque). Success came from a Snap-on 1/2 drive 14mm impact swivel socket and 1/2 drive Snap-on impact universal swivel along with a smorgasbord of 1/2 extensions and a 24 inch Harbor Freight breaker bar. |
Dinner was simple but amazing. I love these warmer days! low-mid 60s here today.

Magma red peaking through the shadows. Dog does NOT like the car turbo'd. I hit the gas and he slid back into the seat and was planted there, wide eyed and tongue hanging out. :rofl2: :rofl2: I took it easy after that and let him stick his head out the window and smell the world going by. :rofl2:
