Corona19 update 3 reported active case in our county. Hopefully when summer hitd in FL the virus gets killed airborne.

The virus has transformed to droplets to airborne...and it thrives in cold climate.

Look at NY, Jersey’s...Italy and China etc all got hit at winter season.
Hopefully the heat of the Sun will save us.
Places with warm climates has the virus too. I don't expect warmer weather will kill it.

China has another virus to worry about now. The Hantavirus. Seen this last week. It's just now making the news. We have this virus here in the southwest. But it's not a big deal here.

Rusty Im talking about virus that are airborne.

The virus needs a host to survive. Tropical country still has it because they got it from droplet either from someone coughing and sneezing within 6 feet radius and of course intimate contact! Hand vs Hands.:ugh2:

I'm holding out and just only buying what I need at the moment. At most I'll buy a new dryer because the movers busted up my old one getting it upstairs.

Believe me when all this is passed, I have a list of stuff I want to get.

:confused: I just need the water. I'm not going to maintain the landscape. I do not plan to build any structures on the property. I just have to keep up a road, which would be a once a year undertaking at most.

Nah... I'll get them at some point in the coming weeks or months depending on how everything shakes out after this virus mess. The money is burning a hole in my special savings account - that's why I had to buy tools lol. My refund will fund the rotors when it comes it - at that point I'll just buy them from whoever has them in stock at whatever price.

I saw that. I need to chat with some folks in the Marine Air Command & Control system and see how they are integrating drones into the Air Support & Air Control Squadrons. I'm not surprised that they are getting rid of armor and some arty. It feels like we are getting back to our original function, attack and secure advance naval bases.... :tup:

Kinda like we did in WW2.... not much need for arty when the island is 665 acres.... :wtf2:

The arty theyre going with is naval gun support, tomahawks and rockets... 155's are going away. Theyre assuming all future conflicts that the USMC will be involved in will be small islands. That takes them out of certain theaters...oh i dunno... like the middle east? Naval gunfire and rockets are fine and dandy, but relying on tomahawks is an expensive deal.
As for the tanks, you sacrifice crew protection deploying lavs only. Id be pissed if I was a crayon eater right now.

Did you guys hear about the woman in PA that went into a local grocer and intentionally coughed on food items, from meats, to bakery, to produce, etc.? They say the store had to throw away $35,000 worth of food :shakes head:

That might be another incident, but I read bout a dude doing that. Thats why I will only cook or steam any vegetable that we eat. No raw salads for us!
And another knucklehead that did the "corona virus" challenge by licking a toilet bowl. He caught the virus.

Speaking of being safe we had two conformed cases of COVID-19 yesterday in my county. One was from my town. There will be more as people from California as the escape the craziness of their state.
