Honestly this feels like my normal March/April sinus issues nothing more.

Always the same. Pressure, headache, congestion, and minor sore throat for a day after my sinuses drain. No temp no cough just head pain lol

JARblue 03-24-2020 07:42 PM

Went out to throw disc this evening. Some high schoolers out taking photos on the fairway. I whistle at them that I'm going to play through and they should seek cover. They tell me to go ahead - I can't see them behind a big tree so I figure all good. Nope. They were about 20 yards beyond the tree. Disc anhyzers around the tree and smacks one girl full force in the face  I know how hard that thing hit her and I'm surprised she didn't go down. If it had been a few inches higher and hit her temple, it could have possibly killed her. I offer my ice pack but they decline and head home. I was throwing the best round I've ever thrown on that course but I just packed it in and left, too.

I feel bad :(
But not that bad :shakes head:

Sounds like the same crap I've been going through for the last couple of weeks minus the sore throat. Decided to give antibiotics a try in case it's a sinus infection.

Just went to the store for the first time this month. Things were relatively well stocked with limited items to buy for specific things. I also spent the most amount of money ever in a single trip. $214. And mind you, this is just for me. My culinary skills are in for a treat!

I then went to taco bell and got $30 in food for Susan and I because it's late...

Things regular people don't even look at. Whole chickens, thighs, legs, pork butts, picnic legs, tons of canned and fresh veggies, tomatoes for sauce, etc.

A lot of geniuses just buy frozen foods and the common cuts of meats. I can smoke or sous vide tough cuts. I can make my own breads and pizzas. I have a guy I get eggs from.

I do want to get a meat grinder so I can start making my own burgers from specific cuts again.

Chicken breasts, ground beef, and pork chops were all sold out. The store was lined with whole chickens, ribs, Boston butts, and other roasts like everyday though. I was honestly dreading having to go and being disappointed in what I could scrounge to find, but it all turned out decently well.

I have a meat grinder that I use mostly for making ham spread for sandwiches. :yum: Left over baked ham, pickles, and mayo. Can add other things to spice up the taste. Change the pickles to the sweet & hot chips. Sometimes, add a little mustang.

You have an issue duudet. Not everyone get's jealous of someone owning nice things. I say, good for them. If that makes them happy, go for it. Nice things come with time and hard work. Not gonna be jealous of that. I deal with that attitude all the time from folks. You want to be miserable, leave me out of it.

I used to have a meat grinder but we broke up, I'm not sure where she's at now. :gtfo2:

wassup my Z people! damn, you all have been busy with this thread. I'm gonna check back after reading back through the literature book of posts.

In the mean time, I was thinking, if fecal matter made its way onto an antibacterial bar soap, the soap bar would self-clean right?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there are multiple reports that state someone could have the virus with no symptoms, even after the incubation period. Not sure how that would work, but that's what I read....

Mostly due to all of EW's ":ugh2::ugh2::ugh2::ugh2::ugh2::ugh2:" and similar replies.

vtec to vvel 03-24-2020 10:05 PM

I know we all joke around and have a good time. Hell, I think this forum even invented social distancing even before COVID-19, and other coronaviruses, came to be, as we are all miles upon miles away but share common interests and brother (and sister) hood. On a more serious note, I do want to say that since it seems a lot of states are going into lockdown mode, I hope everyone stays safe. For those that are infected, I wish you Godspeed on recovering sooner than later.

Okay, sentimental scene over. Back to the norm!

Not that I am aware of....and I meant "Godspeed" as its literal term

According to Google:

"an expression of good wishes to a person starting a journey."
