Wild week for sure. Started with tele-medicine being thrown at me with no heads up...all of my projects took a lower priority. Then had to back fill for support because employees were beginning to work from home and needed to be set up. Then an hour before I left work, they told us a shelter in place, nobody going into work until further notice.
A mad house ensued. They told the employees that I would be available today to help with remote connections...um, yeah...lol |

One of the Dr's at one of our remote sites ordered one of the ladys that works there who is in her early 60s to work from home last week. If youre gonna be hard headed, at least make sure to keep washing your hands, stay a good distance from people and dont touch your face! Dont put anybodys Z on here at risk!!!!!! If something happens to you, all the Z's owners here on the east coast will have disassembled suspensions sitting there because you cant finish it. :rofl2: |

Where I'm at in the store. I'm on the opposite side of the store from the restroom. I don't deal with the public that much. Just truck drivers mostly. And we have a program in place for that. |

Talked to a guy that does pest control. Half of his customers have cancelled appointments this month. Next month looks like it will be the same (if not worse). :(

I just read the best comment of the day. Youtube video interviewing kids in Miami for spring break. They all dismissed keeping away from crowds, theyll party until they get infected, whatever...etc.

The government is talking about corporate bailouts and sending cash to Americans. While this is great and dandy, they need to put family-owned businesses first, as they have nothing to fall back on, and put less focus on the big@$$ companies. God forbid corporate executives/shareholders make a million less than last year.... |
I threw 9 holes of disc golf yesterday. Didn't see another person throwing. But the park was absolutely packed with people. Kids picking up my discs, bunch of people playing basketball and volleyball, tons of people at the skate park and it even looked like there was a group large enough to play a game on the baseball diamond. WTF is wrong with people?

Unfortunately, while small business may be the heart and soul of America, it is Big Business that keeps politicians in power. Therefore, corporate America will always take priority. We have seen it time and time again. |
New York State going to full lockdown- or as jar would say, kok-down.

Susan and I ordered Moe's last night and picked it up. The employees were so bored that they asked us what else we wanted. We walked out with about 20 pounds of nachos, Guac, tortillas, and other stuff.

On Friday, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo told New York’s 19 million residents to stay indoors as much as possible and ordered nonessential businesses to keep all of their workers home.
The measures, the state’s most drastic yet, come as confirmed coronavirus cases in New York topped 7,000, by far the most in the nation. “These provisions will be enforced,” the governor said at a briefing in Albany. “These are not helpful hints.” The governor also announced strict rules for people over 70 and with underlying illnesses, allowing them to go outside only for solitary exercise, requiring them to wear masks when in the company of others and barring them from visiting households with multiple people, among other requirements.
