Morning sir...

Spoiler 01-28-2020 06:13 AM

Well I guess its time for breakfast now, or as some may say... go down on the meat...

I guess I just need to come to terms with it.... yes, I am a bacon whore....

Alright guys, we're past Monday, so it'll be easier going now.

Started DEI wrapping the turbo piping last night. The safety wire pliers are neat (although I did make my beer explode with them, not explaining how).

Pro-tip: Marry a woman you don't love so that she's obligated to help you wrap the pipes. That way, she'll divorce you, and you can be on your merry way. Never subject someone you love to this task.

How much blood was spilt from impaling fingers on the ends of the wire? I lost quite a bit... :icon17:

madwi 01-28-2020 07:26 AM

wrapping that **** was a nightmare by myself. Jwick had good pointers about using a clamp to hold it in place while twisting the wire.

Madwi made that installation look easy; it just would prick my fingers if you grabbed a pipe wrong :ugh2:

Got a free meal out of it, not that I was interested.

This (or something similar) is what I envision happening to Rusty's corpse

Let me ride shotgun so that you can drive in the HOV lane. :driving:

HOV lanes are such a strange concept to me.
They don't exist around here.

*Edit: Still in remedial spelling

It actually wasn't terrible once I got the hang of it. The first bit is the hard part. Also per DEI's recommendation, I lightly sprayed the wrap with water just enough to moisten it and let the fibers stretch a bit. I'd do a couple turns, lock it with the safety wire, and then finish my section before going back for additional wiring. When I did the safety wire, I left enough after clipping that I could fold it back against the pipe. Also, wearing gloves helped limit the stabbed fingers.

I'm sure when I'm lying under the car fitting everything in place, I'll look a lot more like I visited an unfriendly section of Detroit late at night while carrying obvious money.

Safety wiring is an art. When twisting the wire. Leave about a half inch of twist after you cut it. Fold a 1/4 inch of the twist against it self. Then fold that down the surface.

Good Morning! Been away for a bit. Lots of panis last week as I came down with a urinary track infection. All I want to do is hide in a dark room and be very very still. Feeling much better know except my right knee has blown up like large grapefruit. Don't get old if you are a wimp!:tiphat:

Not to spread rumors but.......

Deaths in excess of 80K, several hundred thousand sick and dying.

Conservative estimates 250k dead before it burns itself out. Is it odd that the biolab's emblem is the umbrella?

Phase 1 my dude. Gotta create a viable plague before you go for zombies. The next pandemic will be the zombie apocalypse. I suggest leaving raccoon city now however.

Think it's going to be a lot higher than that in China alone. When it hits India and Africa. It's going to really take off.

Video of Wuhan shows an abandoned city, there is no one on the street. People maybe inside, but I doubt it. There is also video of a guy falling over dead by some kind of a terminal and no one shows up to cart his dead azz off.:eek:

Sorry boys, but I'm buying lead and brass and anything that remotely coughs my direction is getting lit up..... :shakes head::shakes head:

My vote is a TNW on a few cities.... :owned:

It will go nuts in LA & Frisco.... Cali may become a wasteland....

It helps if you have the right tool for the job. Safety wire pliers are most excellent.
