It’s rated 300# 99$ on sale for an 8’r :ugh2: |
Did my oil change, fixed the loose clamps, and set the tire pressure. Good to go for a while. I never use a flathead screwdriver on a radiator hose clamp. I always use a 8mm 1/4in socket and ratchet. That way you know they are tight.

You also have to consider expansive soils. I don’t know anything about the soils in the Carolina’s but from the pictures it seemed like he had a basement, which means that foundation is way below the ones he’s building for the extension. Either way, it’s going to settle. You can always surcharge the virgin soil to force the settlement before you apply the final lid, but that ship has sailed on this project. |

If you had a chain wall around the perimeter 36” down then it would encapsulate the interior soil and protect it from freezing effects. However; you would need to design the 8” slab with enough rebar to span the entire length assuming the soil below it shrinks and the slab is unsupported chain wall to chain wall. |
Transition Time & gonna squeeze Trigger while I’m up :icon08:

Good Monday Morning all. Hope you all had a great weekend. The last few laps of yesterday's F1 race was exciting to say the least. The Cowboys won and last night's steak was awesome. Coffee for now then off to gym. Hope you all have a great day and be safe out there!!
