I've been on a lot of job sites. FWIW... I've seen the roof of a rusted out Chevy Impala on 4x jack stands (rims but no tires) holding up a pergola top because they were too cheap to get a proper lift for it. They got it on the car and then lifted one corner at a time in increments with what were basically fence posts. It was an all day endeavor for them to lift it 10 feet.

1” dia. I think it was 12 or 15” long. Used my dewalt battery power 1/2” impact on it. Snuggled up nicely. The posts were 6x6 and the major strong backs were 6x12s.

I was pleasantly surprised myself. Especially fighting back after down 14 five minutes in. I’d still like some consistency. When healthy, we can beat anyone and the next week lose to anyone.

It was. :yum: I had the 8oz filet, onions and shrimp with butter corn and a mashed potato. Wifey had the grilled filet with a bed of rice, peppers, something else and onions.

Between dinner and the movie. We did a little shopping. Got a quart of apple pie moonshine. :yum: The stuff is made locally.

The movie Midway was pretty good. The wifey and me both enjoyed it. :tup:
