A very chilly morning, which means I'm not looking forward to the washing part of the car tomorrow morning.... Luckily I picked up one of those fan heaters last week for the garage, so it'll be nice and toasty when I do the prep before ceramic coating. Had to order a new set of microfibers from Chemical Guys because someone in the house thought it was okay to wash them along with clothes... :shakes head: all is forgiven because of good intentions.

One of the shift knobs I've been eyeing actually popped up in their clearance section. Guess who just bought one and saved himself about 50 bucks :tup: . Of course after telling myself I'm done spending money on unnecessary car stuff :icon17:

Nice which one you got? I ordered the Contour in Red Translucent w/ Engraving. My buddy has one of their knobs in his GT350 and I absolutely loved it.

Well... that was an interesting past hour and a half. My boss texts me (he's out of the office on friday's) saying his sister-in-law's car wont turn on. He's stuck at the bodyshop checking the progress on his car so he asked if i could go to her, figure out whats wrong with it and take care of it lol. Get there and pretty quickly can tell its the battery and not the starter. Go to an auto parts store and buy a new battery for the car and head back to swap it out. As i leave the parking lot her husband calls and said he was able to get off work and jumped her car and he's there. Meet up with them and give him the battery and he pays me back, and i go back to the office. He has a beautiful Mexico Blue Porsche GT3 that he was driving, and damn does that thing look good. Talked for a bit about cars and turns out he also has a drift car, an S14 with an LS6 in it. Just your typical day at the accounting firm :rofl2:

I was just looking hard at that... are you a side shifter and how large are your hands? I have a 9 inch hand and side shift and I've not found a shift knob that works well for me.
