Started seeing ads on a couple of websites. Ublock origin extension crashed, I was almost panicking wondering what the heck was going on. Back to no ads now.

Exactly. Supposed to go running tonight, but judging from the weather, that may be a non-starter. How's your pace so far this year? I'm starting to speed up again as the temperature warms and my practice is more consistent.

Leingod 05-14-2019 07:18 AM

It has been raining straight for the past 4 days here. Tomorrow is literally the only partly cloudy no rain day of the week. Really hope to get out of the state before we get more downpours so my tape job survives at least half of the trip...

4 miles is right around what I'm doing. No Nismo, but if it gets too hot, I want to quit on me ;)

Don't ya know that 'daycare' is a full on germ factory? Parents bring their little angels when they are pukin' and crappin' all over themselves and expect the 'daycare' folks to take care of them, instead of the parents staying home and taking care of them. :icon14::icon14: Of course, those are the same people that come to work sick so they can infect everyone at work.... :shakes head::shakes head:

Just because people have the equipment to have kids, doesn't mean they should....:shakes head:

The flip side is that most states frown on you leaving your 3 year old home alone so that you can go to work... and since wages have not kept pace with inflation, it virtually necessitates a 2 family income.

A good buddy just retired from the Navy as a Captain (O-6). Man, we're getting old!!

:hello:

I'z up.

Waiting to punch in.

Sept like chit last night. Dealing with turf toe. Stepped wrong coming off a forklift yesterday. Bent my big toe back to far on my left foot. The foot with the pins. Can't put any weight on the ball behind the toe. So I'm walking on the side of my foot.

If EW tells me to suck it up. He'll be sucking through a straw.

Because of the schedule I worked (3-midnight), I was home for the kids during the day. The ex worked the overnight shift, so she took care of them when I wasn't home. It was a trade-off. When we both worked days, we took turns taking vacation/sick time to take care of the kids, though usually it was me that wound up using all my vacation/sick time every year. :icon14::icon14:

I've taken days off when I had no PTO, yeah it made life tough on short paychecks, but it was all about what we considered important. Probably the reason I got divorced... :ugh2:

I'm not saying it can't be done, but your last paragraph sums up a lot of why it would be undesirable ;) Sometimes a sick kid in daycare is better than the alternatives.

I emailed them they were wondering when Nissan changed the specs. Asked what they could do to help me out. They've been good, so nothing needed, but just wish they'd check all their specs.

When I went to nissan to get another bolt, they did say there are two part numbers for the bolt. From 2008 to 2010 production years but couldnt tell me if there was a mid year change... or what the difference is..mine is late 2010

That's like the freaking O2 sensor. Nissan used at least 2 different kinds, possibly 3, depending on the year.

If the bolt is sourced from a new supplier maybe it gets a new part #?

I posted the change in the torque spec's. 09, and 10 is one. 11 and up is another.

Who did you talk with at SPL? Turner?
