What really gets me about this BS is that for the sellers, if they're using a freight service, it doesn't matter if the product gets damaged in transit so long as they 'reasonably' packaged it, bc a freight carrier (sorry) carries the liability.

When I sell a part on this forum, I package that mofo like a Faberge egg and eat the extra shipping cost due to added weight, b/c I want a good experience for the buyer and I care about my reputation.

Almost anything you buy comes in a fitted styrofoam 'box' inside the shipping box. Amazon bubble-wraps books, for God's sake. That Seibon ships a hood less securely than Shanghai Fuijian Happy Lucky Co. ships a vacuum cleaner is, frankly, disgraceful.

I've dealt with similar crap with USPS before. If the package gets to it's destination they don't pay out. If you refuse a damaged package, you're sol. If you accept a package that they put through a car crusher first, you're sol. Only thing it covers is if they lose the package entirely.

Home sweet home. Glad you ok after these storms came around 11pm Wed.

Coming from St. Louis. We detoured almost 20 minutes out of the way west towards Dallas before heading south between two large cells. Same storm was one huge cell before we took off. Sorta like the parting of the Red Sea :tup:
