You would have crapped a golden brick several years ago around here. I went to feed the horses and saw a BIG timber rattler under my Teryx. He was eating a full size rabbit. His head was as big as my balled up fist. He was over 6 ft. long. He died with the Rabbit in his mouth. LOL

The one job I was working at, on night shift. I needed a piece of one inch pipe. Had to go outside to the laydown yard to get it. Found the stack of pipe. I was looking for a piece about 5ft long. See the piece that was close to what I wanted. Bend down to pick it up in the middle. Grab it and started to pull it up. The pipe bent and then started to wiggle.. Dropped that black snake like right now.. :rofl2:

While on snake stories... I had a pet rat snake growing up. It would get out of the cage often despite having bricks on the top. He’d end up in the darndest places. He made it into an ammo can in the gun room and Scared the **** out of my dad when he opened it :icon17:

Trying to hold it together y'all! My 16 year old bird dog had a stroke about 3 this morning. I spent the night laying on the floor holding him. I ain't much worth shooting right now. Headed to the vet to get him an evaluation.

Thanks everybody for your well wishes, prayers and thoughts...they worked! I just go back from the vet and he said that the old dog is suffering from Vestibular Syndrome. Basically it is the canine version of vertigo and is treatable. :happydance: The old boy got a cortisone shot and a couple of other meds. I am so happy I could just chit!:inoutroflpuke:

Thank again for the love and support!!!:tiphat:

I have to go to Bestbuy and get me a new TV for this house.

It’s kinda confusing, so I am up for suggestions in a 55” model... anyone got any advice?

Brand?
Features?
Series?????

I know the feeling. My wife's dog, Rockie, had to go to the Vet yesterday due to labored breathing. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He is doing much better now since we got some meds for it.

Time to cook that boy a steak dinner. Glad it all worked out. My horse coliced last month and didn't make it. I am still not over it. She was my third wife. Prissy, my second wife passed away a couple of years ago. I just want to go crawl in a hole and hide when I think about it.

FWIW, I run LG and Samsung tvs at work and they hold up very well. Many of them see action 20+ hours a day. I prefer Samsung and use them at home.

Tvs with wifi or wired network connections and usb (non maintenance port) are great if you have media server(s). Other than that I dont really use any of the apps or features.

Rusty 09-05-2019 08:35 PM

I have a 70" Sharp that I bought in 2011. It gets turned on at 6am, and turned off around 2am every day. Never had a problem with it.
