You had 250 and your WiFi was only at 50? Either you have lead in your walls, a ton of interference or some really bad config.

no i just didnt care and used the modem/router combo comcast provided.

but now thats in a box to go back to them lol

the spaceship router is up and running. i put it where my other one was......but it look so cool though it may have to get a better spot so i can look at it lol

The Comcast dude who set up your WiFi or whoever, needed to make sure youre speed was decent..
Anyway, with your new tier, make sure your WiFi devices have 802.11ac cards in them otherwise youre wasting half+ of the speed youre paying for

yea my comcast was $220 a month for 250mbps internet, semi basic cable with some extra sports, and home phone for the bundle price.

i realized i literally only watch the penguins on tv and the 100.

sooooo 4x the internet speed and $90 locked in price with no fuckin me with a new $5-10 fee every month. my comcast started at $79 a month. in 4 years it got up to $220 and next month was $225 now.

Yup. Verizon is now Frontier.. worse customer service ever! I had a client on Frontier, their internet went out.. I called to dispatch their techs. They told me that the ETA for a tech was 8 DAYS!!! on a business account..

I have the home phone bundled in also. I dont even own a land line phone.

what i got basically is google fiber.....but not google lol they didnt put it here yet.

I wouldnt be surprised if the providers get a government subsidy depending on the number of land line subscribers they have. Why else would they bundle it up?

i went with some new company who just came in and ran fiber everywhere.

waived the $100 installation fee since it's early in them being here and $90 a month for 1gbps unlimited internet and no going up in price.

3 tiers. 150mbps/50 a month - 500mbps/70 a month - 1gbps/90 a month.
