cobb shelf tunes to get running but i was probably going to use my $300 in store credit for a custom tune from doug at WGP. he seems to be very good and is always on the forums helping people. highly recommended it seems.

If the shelf tune isn’t for 2000cc injectors I would not enter boost. Baby it over there. It might run like ****.

Boost? If the injectors are that much bigger than the map expects, it might not even start. Idle will be all ****** up too. See if the tuner will email you a limp tune with just the injector scaling done so you can drive it to the shop.

ok. yea i didnt buy them i was just curious while still in my shopping phase.

also, i found yet again another exhaust option/idea.

ETS has new 3.5" DP's that do not neck down like all others, has V band connections where only custom DPs have those for big builds, also they have a 3.5" to 4" Y pipe thats also V band and mates to any 4" mid pipe and rear section.

it's tempting to be all 3.5" and 4" and vband. they are 989 for DP and 859 for the Y pipe new.

hmmmmm

If you don't plan on going BIG with your build, all of those differences are academic.

yes but eventually i will and why buy stuff twice. it's a waste of time and money. i'll never get the same money back for them if i go small and need to sell.

one and done.

Late start on the forums today, got distracted reading about the Scottish uprising of '45. When things here are slow, they are REALLY slow.

How's everyone doing?

Kosmic told me I’d be fine limping the G over to his shop on he stock tube after the turbo install as long as I didn’t spool the turbo and just limped it over to him.

You are just like cupcake. It's going to cost you more in the long run with issues of mismatch parts to get where you want to go. Big injectors now but with nothing to go along with them for the time being. Then how long before the next mod?

thats why i asked for info on injector size lol i'm not installing only injectors. i'm getting the whole set of FBO together then installing all at one. all will be in tandem to make roughly 650whp which is the stock block safe zone.

exhaust being big is a good thing. there's no downside on a turbo car being larger sooner.

I'm actually researching mowers at the moment, although I'm sure it's not the same. I have an old L100 JD rider I'm leaving with the house, as my new yard isn't going to be anywhere near the size of my current yard and a push mower will be fine.

22" Toro maybe???

BoneZ 03-08-2019 02:55 PM

Ooo... progress.
