I lost my yellow lab 2 1/2 yrs. ago, she was absolutely the best dog period. We adopted when she was 9, her owner died and after her being passed around by her owners family nobody wanted her. We had her for 6 1/2 yrs. I'm finding it a little hard to even type this..... Dogs are great

That dog was really fond of my brother. Last month we went to their house and my brother stayed in the car (hes wheelchair bound, so it was a chore to get him out). The dog comes out, and when she heard my brothers voice, her ears perked up, tail wagging wild and ran up to my brother in the car and gave him kisses like there was no end. That was the last time we saw her. |

That reminds me of story years ago :rofl2: Ed worked part time for a local funeral home. He was told to be pick up a dead body at one of the local nursing homes. Ed with his co-hort goes in, stops at the desk and says that he here to pick up Mr So and So. The nurse tells Ed that he is up the steps the 2nd door on the right. The bed next to the window. So the two of them go up. 2nd door on the right and the bed next to the window. Yep, there is a dead body in the bed. So Ed pulls down the sheets and looks. There is a catheter in the guy. The catheter has to come out before moving the body into the cart. Ed's co-hort reaches down and grabs the catheter, and pulls it like he's starting a lawnmower. Ed didn't have time to tell him on how it's done. The poor old guy comes out of a sound sleep screaming at the top of his lunges. Scared the chit out of both of them. The nurses come running in. Screaming on what's going on. After a brief talk. They got the wrong guy. The guy they was to get is on the left. The nurse at the desk screwed up royally. That's the last time Ed went to be pick up a dead body. |
