I got to do that tomorrow.

The passenger side fender vent is done. I'm using #10-32 5/8" button head bolts with lock nuts to mount the vents. Could have gotten away with using the smaller #8 bolts. The bolts pulled the gaps out.

The driver side is fighting me. The gaps doesn't want to pull out. :shakes head:

It’s funny how you dream stuff that later seems to come true...

Last night, I dreamt I was a magician and could make stuff disappear...

Spoiler 05-03-2019 04:29 AM

Yup, and at 6am, the Great Spoilerini is going to make a pound of bacon disappear...

jchammond 05-03-2019 04:48 AM

Gonna spend weekend putting some post in the ground & building a hard cover for the Z...been looking online & did see some car covers made from 300 denier & heavy weight.
Just don’t want to mess up finish.
As I mentioned before/didn’t want to put the cart in front of the Horse,,,but 5k for a running/driving clean Touring Sport changed my mind :ugh2:

Good Friday Morning all. Raining here this morning again but the weekend is looking better as far weather goes. Hitting the gym then cleaning up some around the house. Have a good one guys and be safe out there.

Leingod 05-03-2019 06:31 AM

Raining like crazy here today as well. The drive in the Z after work tonight down into PA will be fun...

TGIF. For real this week. Yesterday was interesting. I have a customer trying to return a batch of product for being out of tolerance, and I'm getting to the point where I'm about 95% sure that the part is in tolerance and what he's putting it on is out of tolerance.

:shakes head:

Ready to go home already.

:hello::hello::hello:

It's supposed to rain off and on today, and I have to put brakes on a friend's CR-X tonight. :icon14:
Thankfully, the fiancee is going to see the grandkids in Globe, KS tonight (40 minutes SW of here) so at least I'll have half a garage to work in if it's still raining.

My backyard is a little soggy... it squishes as I walk on it... :shakes head:

i also dipped out early to go get tires on the GTR.

as my luck goes with tire swaps it has issues of course.

TPMS all reset and show pressure but 3 of 4 are reading red saying flay. it happens to the gtr i guess and think i gotta go to nissan to clear.

i can do it with ecutek i believe if i have a tpms tool but i dont lol

Only Nissan can reset the GTR TPMS? I thought you can get that done anywhere?

the flat tire code is different than just lighting up the sensors.

all 4 are reading pressure however 3 are also showing the red box for being flat as well. i read online people have got that code even just overnight in the garage it's weird.
