They lost me in the late 70's. When they started to spec parts. No big blocks, no aero like the SuperBirds.

I was going to get these, then paint them using the caliper painting kit that Advance Auto sells, bake them in the oven to cure the paint, put Akebono decals on, then clear coat and bake again. If you buy the calipers from the local parts store, there is usually a 90 day period to return the cores, so depending on how long a powder coater shop would take to powder coat the ones you get from the store. No way in heck would I be allowed to use the oven for curing car parts! I called local shops for powdercoating prices. Its pretty pricey. 125-150/caliper. I might just bite the bullet and get a bbk package. Saves me some time and headache and will keep me from sleeping on the couch. :ugh2:

Alright. Follow up from the good news and bad news post from last week. The hr person already got back to me for the new job they were looking at adding and sent me the info to apply. The position stated its over an hr away driving, but supposedly I could get the position to be where the original job is that I originally applied for. So here's to hoping I hear back from them very soon on it. I don't see how or why they'd suggest another position if they didn't truly want me to begin with.

And I also just finished my 3rd interview with another local place a half hr away. They said they'd hopefully have a decision for me by the end of the week. I'm not overly thrilled about this position, but it sound slike internal growth is phenomenal and the users aren't bad to work alongside. So we shall see.

Been under the Z since about 5pm. Just got done for the night. I should be dropping the rear sub-frame tomorrow. :tup: Only thing left to do is some braces over the front mounts, and the 4 nuts that hold the sub-frame in place.
