Three things... COMPLIMENT THEM Ask good questions about their organization or process, and then compliment them on how solid it seems to be... People love to be complimented. STAY POSTITIVE Don't talk negative about your past experiences or employers ever... It will make you look bad. ASSUME YOU WILL BE OFFERED THE POSITION Show enthusiasm and say that you appreciate their time and are looking forward to starting with them (even though they really haven't offered you a job yet). This blows their mind and makes them remember you as being pro-active. -Spoiler |

Thanks guys.
For as nervous as I was, I think it went very smoothly and with little pressure. Met with the IT director and sys admin director. We spoke about my broad overview of experience in related fields. I was constantly emphasizing that if I don't know something, I will ask questions, study up on the issue, or work until the issue is resolved thoroughly. Brought up my points of wanting to just grow my knowledge base in the field and expand my experience. Spoke to both in a very cheerful and happy demeanor while also throwing a few jokes in to smooth out any awkward pauses or pressures. I plan to send out a thank you email to them tomorrow and reemphasizing my skillet to constantly wanting to learn new things. |

When I send my thank you email tomorrow, do you guys think I should include a few other questions for them? Act even more interested per say.

I certainly wouldn't ask any questions about compensation or benefits at this point... other questions might be okay, but not about money or bennies |
Guess I need to get some RepZ out while the kids are outside.
