I get 3 paid days off for Christmas holidays,,,but getting called in would be 1.5x on top of the already paid 8hrs...some people call it double-time & 1/2

12 hr shift. 12 hr holiday pay, plus 1.5 for all hours worked. Equals $125 an hr. :yum:

Thought this over before laying down,,,would have to work a good bit more than 15hrs for the 1500, as the paid holiday is only 8hrs :ugh2:
You were paid well back then

Rusty 12-25-2018 09:05 PM

Family is gone, so now I can relax. Chowing down on some bacon wrapped chestnuts. :yum:

Yeah, and I walked away from it. When you work in a place where everything is designed to kill you. I had my share of close calls. Figured it was time to go before being put in a body bag if they could find all the pieces.

Spooler 12-25-2018 09:14 PM

We just got back from my wife's sisters house. Glad to be home. I got to go to work tomorrow. I hate working at Christmas. I didn't last year so it is my turn this year. Still only working 2 days though. LOL

Pintsize725 12-25-2018 09:45 PM

Survived not eating the horrible food at the in laws. There's a reason I choose to visit my family first. Tamales, pozole, ham, rice, beans, mashed potatoes, nachos, and lots of desserts. Versus ham, corn casserole, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie and mashed potato casserole.

jwick 12-25-2018 10:03 PM

We basically smacked all day. I did break into leftover ham after everyone went home just to have the protein counter all the sweets I ate.

Both of those sets sound good. Yum Yum, LOL

Spooler 12-25-2018 10:52 PM

We did something different this year. We had low country boil with fresh shrimp just caught and finger foods.

jchammond 12-26-2018 03:59 AM

About to fire up the coffee pot; Off again today-unless i get called in :ugh2:

Rusty 12-26-2018 04:10 AM

Im glad you finally got your big “Dildo” unfortunately most of them are made in China. The size might not be accurate.

Try to fit it first! Lol

Hopefully they have a return policy after use.
