I should drive home today in 6th to see what that does to my gas mileage.

You can’t worry about fuel mileage once you start to mod!

6th gear with your diff will closer simulate 3.69 gearing & cruising in 5th will simulate 4.36 gears.

Fall is going to be short. Most of the US will be covered with snow around Thanksgiving. The upper tier is already covered. Ski lodges are already open for business in the Rockies.

BoneZ. If you buy another diff. Toss the VLSD out and get a real LSD. You will thank me later. Also get the Z1 diif cover, and SPL diff bushings. Why do things twice. Do everything at one time. Show up at my house and I will do the install.

Whatcha think that would cost a brotha?

BoneZ 10-16-2018 12:41 PM

Because if that's the case, I only need to get any diff from a manual right? Doesn't matter if it's vlsd.

i love when my boss actually shows up to the office then decides to lean in and say hey i dropped 5 "trouble" emails in your inbox can you take a look so our backlog is only showing 1 day.......

the reason is they are a week old is because they awful and the other two in my group duck this type of work and hid them. they come to light then it is my issue now.

This is one of my least favorite scenarios. Whenever I see Unnamed Coworker (name changed to protect the stupid) approaching my office, I brace myself internally.

Conversation from earlier today...

UC: "Did you see the email I sent you?"
Me: "The email where you described what I told you was going to happen last week? Yes."
UC: *panic in voice* "What do we do?!"
Me: "The same thing I told you we'd do last week when I told you this was going to happen. Wait for the customer to revise the specification."
UC: "But they desperately need the parts!"
Me: "Not that desperately, or they'd already have revised the specifications."
UC: "What do I tell the buyers?!"

For god's sake woman, you've been in this role for the past 30 years and you can't figure out your job without someone holding your hand through every step.

i legit had the same thing today.

i've been in this role since last august.

a woman whos been in this role for 7 years comes over asking where is the templates for a trapped PO.........this is after i literally overhear her on the phone saying she has no clue how to handle trapped PO's. like that is the easiest thing and part of our scope of knowledge. i literally laughed out loud when she came over to me.

this being the same old bitch who's probably turned me in for "looking at my phone too much".

match my work output and then you can talk :tiphat:

The one you found $1,000. Diff cover $198. WaveTrac $1295. SPL diff bushing $143. Total $2,636.

I looked at what Z1 has to offer as a complete unit. The same stuff. It's $3073.

Low of 34° here this week, highs in the mid-50s to low 60s, and I'll take that over 85 just about any day.

i disagree. cold temps mean fun cars get parked which then increases depression for the next 4-5 months just seeing my babies locked up in the garage. :shakes head:

From what I've been reading. There will be some wild weather across the country. The western half of Kansas already got 2 plus inches of snow this past week. They still have crops in the field that need to be harvest. Seen pictures of corn combines sitting in the fields covered in snow. Look for food prices to take a jump up.
