Was buttoning everything up. Last thing we was doing, was installing the gas tank. Did that, and Tommy started to put gas in the tank. He forgot to install the crossover hose between the 2 half's of the tank. Gas covered the engine and hit the floor. In the corner of the garage was a little natural gas space heater that was on. We watched the flumes from the gas make a bee line to the heater and ignite. The flames traveled right back to the bike. Toasting it. :shakes head: Well..... I rebuilt the whole bike for him this time around. :shakes head:

I worked with a guy that was in the paint booth when a coworker walked near the booth with a lit cigarette...

One Kero-Sun would heat my dad's garage from 20F to 60F in 45 minutes. The garage size was 30ft x 24ft with 9ft ceiling. If I was working with fuel. I would shut the heater off before I started to work. I also keep 20gal of kerosene on hand at all times.

i was debating on doing a small one in my garage for the toys but i dont wanna bump my heating bills that much when the Z has survived the last 2 years without extra heat lol

now i may put the GTR in my dads small attached garage over this winter :bowrofl:

My garage stays about 64F year round. It's part of my basement. Just wish it was bigger.

I'm sure that all of you up north have this but I have to ask. Are your garage doors insulated? If not this will make a huge difference. Ours is and I have been in the garage with shorts on and it being 30' outside with it being almost as warm as the inside of the house.
